"I used leather magic flattening paste to reduce the shine of leather dye I was using to repair scuffing on my leather car seat bolsters. I used a ratio of about two parts dye to one part agent. The repaired bolsters matched the rest of the seat perfectly. Note that, depending upon the ratio, the flattening agent wil lighten the dye color to some degree, so test an inconspicuous area first."
